The Classical Music Heritage Trust was founded in 2002 by Mr. Iftikhar Rashid,  Chief of the Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA). The goal of the Trust is to preserve and revive the Patiala Gharana of Music in Pakistan. The trust raises funds to promote classical music in Pakistan.
